Direct to Garment Printing (DTG)

Direct to Garment Printing or DTG for short is a newer printing technology, and being the geeks that we are - we got in to DTG printing when it was only just coming to the market in 2010.

The simple way of looking at DTG printing is that it works in much the same way as when you are printing a document at home. You send a file from your computer to the printer and the printer interprets that file and prints the contents on to a page, or in our case t-shirts, hoods, sweatshirts and anything else that we can get our hands on.

Not all DTG printers are born equal though, we spent a long time as we started using DTG printers, looking in to the printing technology and knew that we wanted to be at the very forefront in terms of the quality, price and speed of the products that we offer. That is why we went with Aeoon as our printers of choice. Aeoon are based in Austria and have done something very special with their KYO series of printers. Combing state of the art Kyocera printheads with a machine capable of outputting around 800 prints an hour, this means that we can scale and grow as our partners do and meet their demand when they need it most.

The most attractive part of DTG printing is that there are no setup costs, there are no charges for producing screens and there are no minimum order levels. This means that our partners can be truly responsive in the way that they produce their products. You can add a product to your store, start selling it straight away and it will be leaving with the postman the very next day.
